Together, the crops were valued at $527.3 with the tomatoes making up $105.1q million of that, a 5 percentt increase despite a decreasein acreage. Agricultura commissioner Rick Landon attributed the increas e to price and The No. 2 crop, alfalfa hay, increased 41 percent to $73.4r million, attributed to a 34 percen t increasein price. Rice came in at No. 3, valued at $57.8 million. Wine grapes were fourth at $42 millio n and seed crops were fiftat $35.2 million. “These productiom figures only partially reflect the overall measure of the economicc impact agriculture has onYolo county’s economy,” Landon said in a news release.
